    TMAC Resources is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator on a 14-month contract to provide support to our Corporate Office and Hope Bay Site. This position will coordinate with managers, and employees to ensure the efficient delivery of recruitment day-to-day functions.


    This role will report to the Director, Human Resources. The position is located at our corporate head office in Toronto.


    • Sort and review resumes submitted to the Company’s Careers email address.
    • Assist with the delivery of new programs and initiatives.
    • Maintain the ATS iCIMS, this includes updating candidate onboarding status, managing new hire categories and tasks, and ensuring employee statuses are correct.
    • Support Senior Recruiter with job description review, advert review, interview guide creation, scheduling pre-screens and interviews.
    • Create and review offers.
    • Support data input into the Recruitment Report and Recruitment Scorecard to track candidate information for weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
    • Compile data in excel spreadsheets to track candidate information for quarterly IIBA reports.
    • Maintain & generate accurate and timely HR reports based on business requirements.
    • Complete weekly audit of Infomine job postings.
    • Complete weekly Pending Candidate(s) report for Hiring Managers.
    • Send bi-weekly Recruitment Report – Hope Bay.
    • Support administration of the Referral Program.
    • Manage the pre-employment verification process by coordinating pre-employment medicals, references, criminal records check and credit checks for applicable positions.
    • Ensure onboarding of new employees are complete.
    • Ensure travel arrangements for new hires at Hope Bay are complete and conduct candidate first day calls for Hope Bay site employees.
    • Maintain and update training manuals for recruitment and onboarding processes.
      Maintain and update recruitment process flow.
    • Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, community and environmental protection and take action to ensure that unsafe practices or non-compliant behaviours do not occur.
    • Inform, involve and engage the key internal and external stakeholders appropriately; develop and maintain positive relationships and represent TMAC positively in the community.
    • Other such duties as may be assigned.


    • A post-secondary diploma or degree related to Human Resources Management
    • Minimum 3 – 4 years of recruitment experience in a fast paced environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
    • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to establish rapport with people at all levels of an organization.
    • Ability to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
    • Demonstrate sound work ethics and be committed to safety
    • Hands-on, self-sufficient and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude.
    • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of the iCims ATS is an asset.
